Some great games overnight as team’s fight to stay involved in the World Cup. France versus Argentina was a game that will live long in the memory.
Today sees the final games in Pool B being played with Australia already having booked their Quarter Final place. Many pundits wrote of China at the start of the tournament, but they will progress if Ireland or England win when they square off. A draw is no good for England, they must win. Surely England will not be going home at this stage in the competition? Yet as with the women’s team goalscoring and in particular penalty corner conversions are clearly an issue.
