First of all thank you to all those who have taken the time to message me in relation to the FIH Pro League commentary this year. For those who thought it was my voice describing the action in 2020, it has not been me. The broadcast this year is being done remotely from Sweden, and being based in Perth, Australia, it is far too big a commute to even be considered.
I am pleased to say that I am still involved with the sport, currently finishing off writing the history of WASPs Hockey Club in Western Australia. I will also be back behind the microphone for the Hockey WA Premier League matches, and will be involved with the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup for the 10thyear in a row.
In addition I have been fortunate to commentate and be an MC for other sports and sporting events.
Also having started as a two hour radio show in 2005 and now broadcast as a podcast Not The Footy Show will be airing its 500thshow in the next month, and we are busy trying to line up a special guest to mark the milestone.
Thank you once again for the messages it is always nice to know you are in people’s thoughts.
