In this show our guest is Performance Psychologist Jodii Maguire. We caught up with Jodii to discuss how heading home once their event ended at the Tokyo Olympic Games and two weeks isolation may impact on the athletes in the long term and also whether the various sports bodies had the manpower and expertise to address this issue. Jodii explains how so many people are in a position to assist in their own way and how we must not be deceived by the athlete’s poker face.
In our topics under discussion John looks at the ongoing problem of drugs in sport and asks how much power the World Anti Doping Authority really has following the Court of Arbitration for sport rejecting their plea to extend Shayna Jack’s suspension. Probably more importantly what impact will an IPL tournament in California at the end of the year have on Test Cricket?
