Congratulations to Bunbury Forum Force for winning the Western Australia State League Division One Championship and a place in next season’s All Flags State Premier League.
This is the first time in Western Australian Football history that a team from the country has made it into the top division in the state.
There will no doubt be many who moan that it is too far to travel at a weekend, but it is only two hours and will benefit the game as a whole. Bunbury is Western Australia’s biggest city out side of the main population hub of Fremantle and Perth, and the team is bound to attract plenty of media coverage, coverage their fellow teams can sadly only dream about.
We congratulate everyone associated with the club and hope that their stay is a long one.
