Confidence in sport is a great thing, and it appears that Springbok outside centre Jacque Fourie has plenty of it.
He is currently considering an offer to move to France and has been quoted as saying that ‘I think I am still the best outside centre in the world, so that hasn’t changed.”
Some would say this is an interesting comment when he only regained the number 13 shirt last weekend because Adi Jacobs was injured, although Sprinboks fans find Jacobs selection ahead of Fourie just another of coach Peter de Villiers unexplainable thoughts.
The question we ask though is, is Fourie the best number 13 in the world at the moment?
Will he stay or will he go & is he as good as he thinks
