What do the Wallabies coaching staff think they were playing at, and how can the commentators condone their tactics?
The Test at the weekend saw the Wallabies deliberately try and block the runs of the Springboks chasing an “Up and Under,” and felt that they had the right to do so, as did the commentary team. Since when may I ask?
It is called obstruction.
Sure the Springboks tactic is not the prettiest to watch, but that is what happens with sports that try and tinker with rules that have stood the test of time. Take a look at the game we don’t mention, it is half the game it was 20 years ago thanks to rule changes every season.
