Rumour has it that there are a few people who are hot under the collar at the Perth Heat following their ABL Championship win at the weekend.
The Honourable Terry “Tuck” Waldron Minister for sport and recreation in Western Australia was invited to the finals series of the inaugural Australian Baseball League, held in Perth, but declined to attend citing prior pressing engagements.
He is believed to have been spotted at the meaningless pre season game of the sport that we do not mention, instead.
Surely the long term sporting benefits to the state by attending the ABL Championship finals would outweigh most sporting events in Perth last weekend? Certainly those involved with baseball have not taken the snub lightly.
