Tonight on Not the Footy Show – 24 Feb 2010

There has been plenty happening in sport in the past week, so much so we could have filled two shows for you, but sadly we only have two hours. But what a two hours it promises to be.

We will also have a new competition where you could win an overnight stay at the new Bannister Suites in Fremantle, so be sure to tune in.

Winter Olympics
Not The Footy Show’s Michael Fontein is in Vancouver for the Winter Olympics and we will cross to him for a taste of the atmosphere and find out which events he has taken in.

Winter Olympics – Curling
Still in Winter Olympics mode we will talk to ex Junior World Champion and Toronto Curling Club Professional Sandy Graham, about a sport that has had us gripped.

Softball
Kere Johanson the High Performance Manager with Softball WA will join us to share the joy of victory. Not only did the Western Flames take out the national title, but so too did their male counterparts.

Netball
A year ago Ash Neal lined up in the President’s 12 to take on the West Coast Fever in a warm up game, this year, she is part of the Fever. She will join us to preview this year’s match from the other side.

Sailing
Dai Williams recently sailed on the Spirit of Australia in the Clipper Round the World Series, tonight we catch up and see how he is coping being back on terra firma.

Rottnest Swim
Ceri Writer, President of the WA Today Rottnest Channel Swim, could relax this week, after the weekend’s event, but has to now start planning for next years.

Rugby Union
It has been a really tough start to the Super 14 for the Emirates Western Force, and tonight we will catch up with Mitch Inman before they prepare to tackle the Chiefs at ME Bank Stadium on Saturday.
