Swimming
The National Swimming Championships were held in Sydney at the weekend and determined who will be representing Australia at the Commonwealth Games later this year. Swimming expert Ian Hanson will join us to review the weekend’s performances.
Boxing
In Fremantle the Commonwealth Games Boxing trials were taking place for the men, along with the Women’s World Championship trials, Boxing WA’s Geoff Peterson will be joining us to review the event and tell us how our home-grown talent performed.
Netball
The ANZ Championship is under way, but sadly the West Coast Fever went down by just two goals against the Southern Steel, however Caitlin Bassett was outstanding and she will join us tonight ahead of their home game against the Tactix
Wheelchair basketball
The Perth Wheelcats are looking for a fifth national title this year in the National Wheelchair Basketball League. They will have a new coach at the helm in Lee Nott, and he will join us tonight as he prepares for the season ahead.
Football
The Perth Glory Youth side fell at the final hurdle but showed that there is talent and with discipline you can achieve in football. Tonight coach Gareth Naven will join us to look back on the season that has just ended and ahead to next season as he scours for a new batch of players.
Rowing
Two weeks ago we were unable to bring you WAIS scholarship holder Todd Skipworth who recently won gold at the national rowing championships. Tonight he will join us to talk us through that victory, and also taking part in the Hawaiian Iron Man late last year.
Rugby Union
The reigning Super 14 Champions are in town to take on the yet-to-win Emirates Western Force. We will preview this match between the team currently at the top of the ladder and the team at the bottom.
