Another great week of sport ahead of us after WAIS not only celebrated its 25th anniversary on Friday but also recognised Steve Hooker as tits athlete of the year along with cyclist Luke Durbridge who was crowned Young Athlete of the year, while Justin Eveson was named Athlete with a disability of the year.

Wheelchair sport
Justin Eveson will join us to discuss his award and also to state a case for Athletes with a disability to be judged alongside able-bodied athletes.
Cycling
Cadel Evans was in town towards the end of last week to launch his book “Close to Flying.” We caught up with him and discussed the only picture of a cyclist he has in his house, see if you can guess who it is.
Golf
Luke Humphries became the first amateur to win the Handa Australia Cup and we will catch up with him to find out what it means and how frustrated he is to not be taking home any prize money.
Cycling
Darryl Benson will join us to talk cycling and he has plenty to talk about, with Darren Hill being inducted into the Hall of Champions, Luke Durbridge winning Young Athlete of the year and the Perth International Track Cycling Grand Prix being held last weekend at the Midvale speedome.
Speedway motorcycle
Frank Smart is the current and three-time speedway solo motorcycle champion, and he will be joining us to preview WA Solo & Sidecar Speedway Championships at Ellenbrook Speedway this Saturday at 3pm.
Football
State league football legend John Davidson will join us to preview the Football West Gold Medal dinner on Friday night when McInenrey Ford will give away a card to the gold medal winner.
