Tonight on Not the Footy Show – 10 February 2010

Another packed show dealing with controversy, and development, as well as beginnings and ends.

The Rat race comes to Perth this weekend so watch up for all those getting ratty as they run out of time on various challenges around the city.

Football

Perth Glory were involved in a controversial moment during last weekend’s game with Sydney FC. The man best placed to witness it was goalkeeper Aleks Vrteski and he joins us once again.

Rat Race

A few weeks ago we spoke to the organisers of the Perth Rat Race, this weekend the event gets under way and we will talk to the Melbourne champion’s Rob Preston on the secret to being successful.

Lacrosse

WA have had six players selected for the Australian Lacrosse team to take part in the World Cup in July and tonight we catch up with the assistant national coach Gavin Leavy .

Rugby Union

The Emirates Western Force start their Super 14 campaign this weekend against the Brumbies and we will be talking to Dane Haylett-Petty about the mood in the camp especially after the loss of star recruit Andre Pretorius.

Football

Former Perth Glory player Mark Lee has launched a coaching program called Pro Football Training which is aimed at preparing young talented players to be the best they can be. He joins us to talk about the program.

Motorsport

We will also be catching up with former president of the Sporting Car Club of WA John Hurney to discuss the issue of the V8 event in Perth being dropped from the calendar.
