English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs have not won a trophy for a while and as Harry Redknapp transformed the club many believed all of that was about to change. How quickly things change in football!
Redknapp who was tipped to be the next England manager lost out to Roy Hodgson, then he found himself out of a job as Tottenham terminated his contract.
Waiting in the wings to step into what looked like the ideal position to ride the wave of belief and momentum that Harry had built up was the man who had come to Chelsea with great fanfare but had struggled on and off the pitch, Andre Villas-Boas.
The Portuguese coach as certainly not won the fans over and was booed off the pitch at the weekend, after three games without a win and two draws Spurs have not started the season where they left off last year, or who their loyal fans expected.
As a result Villas-Boas has now firmed as the favourite with Ladbrokes betting shops to be the first Premier League coach to be sacked, and sadly for Spurs fans that may well be all that they win this season. Then again its good to win something, and no doubt they will be pleased with the result!
