A documentary film on the life of former F1 World Champion Ayrton Senna saw the deceased driver pick up yet another award. The film won the World Cinema Audience Award for Documentary Film at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.
Released in Japan and Brazil last year, it will now be released across the rest of the world in 2011. The United Kingdom release will coincide with the British Grand Prix in July.
The LA Times review stated that “Sometimes a documentary will unexpectedly reach out and grab you by the throat, not giving you a second to breathe. That’s that way it was with Senna.”
Motor racing fans are looking forward to the worldwide release.
