The commonwealth Games have come to an end and so we can all start returning to normality.
A month ago Australian Cricket looked like it was going to struggle for support, but then came along a massive television deal that has blown everyone away; it may end up blowing Channel Seven away too. What does this mean for viewers, how will the deal work between free-to-air TV and Pay TV, Seven and Foxtel? This is one of the points under discussion on the show.
Our guest on this show is a young man with a very bright future. Sixteen year old Fekadu Koris recently won the under 19’s National Boxing title for his weight classification. He is an immensely talented young athlete, but his path to reach the point he is at now has been far from easy. He has been fortunate to have two men come into his life to guide him when he needed guidance most. This is a young man who knows what he wants to achieve and is proving that hard work and dedication reaps rewards. Remember his name!
Boxing has often been ridiculed because of the number of World Titles that are available, but is Swimming heading down the same path? With almost 50% of Australia’s Commonwealth Games medals coming from the pool, does this not confirm that too many medals are up for grabs in the pool? We would love to hear your thoughts.
