The Olympic Games have come to an end and John and Ashley debate a few issues such as should Athletes have to stay in the village to compete and when should those deprived of medals due to drug cheats receive their medals.
Then we turn our attention to football and cross to Thailand where we catch up with former Matildas assistant coach Spencer Prior who is now coach of the Thailand Women’s team. Spencer talks about the lack of opportunities for top flight coaches in Australia and the challenges he faces in Thailand when until recently the women did not even have a league to play in. (There are a few times that the line broke up during the interview but hopefully it does not spoil your enjoyment).
While on the subject of football we look at the news that Football West are looking at the viability of a second A-League team in Perth in the next 3-5 years.
