After an outstanding debut season in which the team made the finals for the first time we thought it an ideal time to sit down and talk about whether the team can go one better and lift the title and how the weight of expectation sits on her shoulders.
John and Ashley discuss the retirement of an outstanding Australian athlete Lauren Jackson, as well as the doping allegations levelled at Australia’s first World Heavyweight Champion Lucas Browne.
Also getting an airing is the decision by the United States Women’s football team to lodge a discrimination charge against the US Soccer federation in relation to their financial rewards. Also under the microscope is what sort of person should be appointed to the role of CEO of Football West following Peter Hugg’s resignation.
