No this is not a misprint in the heading, but reflects the embarrassment that faced Scunthorpe United.
The Championship club designed a Christmas gift for the most dedicated fans of Scunthorpe United, where fans’ names were printed alongside pictures of the favourite players. But these dedicated fans were in for a rude shock.
A missing letter on one page gave the Calendar an unfortunate vulgar tone.
The Club has now apologised to fans and sent all purchasers a specially printed sticker of the letter “S.” It was this letter that was missing from the club’s name creating an obscenity in large capital letters for the month of September!
