Thank you to one eagle-eyed Perth Glory fan who emailed us to ask if the club’s 15 year anniversary is in fact over, almost before the celebrations have begun.
The club announced a special badge to celebrate its 15 year existence – a strange anniversary to celebrate but these days marketers will use anything they can – and asked that everyone use this and images with this logo on for the coming season.
Then on the press release announcing their trip to South Africa, they have reverted to the old logo without the anniversary. The club itself has published pictures of the players in social media with club dress and the new logo no where to be seen.
It must have been a brief celebration, but then again who celebrates turning 15?
Paul, I know that although over East some people claim that Newcastle are, having been Newcastle KB and then Newcastle United before becoming the Jets.
