Brighton and Hove Albion fans were no doubt pleased to finally have a new stadium that they could call home, but someone at the club came up with a bird-brained idea that they thought would be appealing and quirky; it provided to be extremely misguided.
The Falmer stadium was opened and the club nicknamed ‘The Seagulls” had pictures of the birds featured across the seating complete with droppings falling.
The droppings have now been scrubbed off after the fans failed to see the funny side.
