I would like to apologise for the fact that there have been no posts in the past few weeks. I was in Turkmenistan commentating at the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. Apart from a very busy schedule and long days, internet access was very challenging and many social media outlets were blocked as were other internet sites.
This made things at times a little challenging, but it was an experience I will never forget, not just from a sporting context.
Security was very tight and many of the crew had photographs deleted off their mobile phones. Commentary was monitored, as was all of the footage that went to air and the directors were advised as to images that they were not to show.
It was a great experience and one I would not have missed, as I met some wonderful people and made many new friends.
However, hopefully normal service will be resumed now and once again I apologise to those subscribers who missed out on regular posts.
