Former Brazilian international Amaral whose injured hamstring last season meant hhis stay and influence at the West Australian club was cut short is believed to be heading back to Perth Glory.
Dave Mitchell still has one foreign spot available and with Anthony Skorich and Jimmy Downey both looking to be sidelined for the unforeseeable future wants to bring Amaral in as a replacement player, even though once the season starts he is supposed to dip into the youth team.
As these injuries are prior to the youth league squad even starting training the club feels they should be able to look outside, and also as the injuries are before they play their first games.
Amaral, is reportedly not after a wage that would cause problems, he just wants to play for Mitchell and the Perth Glory.
The FFA will decide if he can play. One hopes that they can see what a boost this would provide to the struggling Perth club and allow him to play.
