Parker MacDonald is a 15 year old at Vail ski and Snowboard academy in the USA, and like most teenagers did not have a date for his school dance.
However as his friends ribbed him on this matter he spotted the darling of the US ski team Lindsey Vonn sitting at a nearby table, he went over and asked if she would be his date. The 27 year old accepted.
She claimed she had never been to a school dance, so it was her first time.
Well they say skiing is all downhill, but Parker may find that to be the case on and off the slopes.
