Regular host of Not the Footy Show Ashley Morrison was missing on air last week, but he has a valid excuse. He was attending the Southampton International Film Festival where his documentary “No Apologies,” about Aboriginal footballers Kyah Simon and Lydia Williams and their journey to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Finals, had been selected to be screened.
On Sunday night at the Festival awards dinner the film picked up two awards. One was for best editing in a documentary and the other was for best documentary.
Congratulations to Ashley and to his editor Troy Lemmey on picking up these two awards.
