News just reached us that the University of Portsmouth in the UK is about to publish a report into ‘the science of breast movement.’  The reason for this is to help in the design of the perfect sports bra, so there is a valid reason why these university students did not keep their eye on the ball.

In a week  when the Nobel Prizes were awarded the ‘Ig Nobel’ awards winners were also announced.

Phillipe Perrin took out the Physics category with his report on why discus throwers get dizzy but hammer throwers don’t.

While the Chinese have completed a report into why the culture of cheating is prevalent among the sportsmen in China. One example quoted is the 2006 Ethnic Minority Games where a team of men wore wigs in their attempt to win the women’s Dragon boat race.
