It is good to see that Perth Now are back on board supporting the round ball game in terms of awards at the end of the season.
It is interesting to see however that in the list of players nominating for this year’s player of the year that Perth’s Antonio Naglieri has been listed twice. We know he is a quality player, but is he really twice the player all of the nominees are?
For the goal of the season, voters will have to rely on their memories, as none of the goals nominated are there to be viewed. It will be interesting to see who wins as on this particular page it asks you to vote for the “Player of the season” not the “Goal of the Season.”
Finally the reason why voters have to give their annual salary before their vote is registered, is obvious but may deter many.
