VolleyballAnother great line up planned for tonight’s show where once again we tackle a wide range of sports and aim to keep Perth abreast of as much sport as we can in two hours. 

So, do tune in tonight to 990am from 6pm – 8pm.

It shows how far the Perth Glory fell in recent seasons that all the talk is about them winning three games on the bounce, Dave Mitchell will join us to tell us if this talk distracts the teams preparation.

Tara West has been selected for the Australian volleyball team heading off to Vietnam this week on the back of the Western Pearls success and she will join us to share what both achievements mean.

Rugby Union
South African journalist Ken Borland will join us from Queensland to give us a South African viewpoint of the Tri-nations test last weekend and the upcoming one this weekend.

Dragon Boat Racing
Doug Sinclair will be back on the show this week to bring us up to speed on how Australia fared at the World Dragon Boat Championships in Prague which ended on Sunday.

Jay Hewson will be joining us from Collie to talk motorsport and preview this weekend’s Collie drift & burnout event.

The Kookaburras qualified for the Hockey world cup next year winning the Oceania Cup, and we will catch up with one of the heroes, in what was at times a farce of a tournament.

Justin Footit is a boxing promoter desperate to give local talent a chance. Tonight he will join us to talk about the upcoming “Home Grown” event at the Italian Club.
