Tonight on Not the Footy Show: 05 May 2010

Had a boring day at the office, nothing on television when you get home, then do what every sports loving fan does, and be sure to tune into “Not The Footy Show” where you will always learn something new about a sport or an athlete. We do, and we are sure that you will too, if you look at the line up tonight you are bound to.

Football
With the British Labour Party stating that they wish to see 25% of British Football clubs owned by the fans we delve a little deeper with Carl Carey from UK company Sportswise, whose recent survey revealed what the public really thought.

Triathlon
Last weekend saw the Busselton Half Ironman Triathlon tonight he president of Triathlon WA Peter Rash joins us to review the event.

Hockey
The Hockeyroos had to do it the hard way, but do it they did qualifying for the World Cup later this year in Argentina. Tonight we will talk to Casey Eastham about their qualifiers in Chile.

Equestrian
The Special Olympic National Games came to a close in Adelaide last weekend and we will be catching up with Willie Warnock to talk about the inclusion of the Equestrian events as a demonstration sport, and their hopes for permanent inclusion.

Netball
The West Coast Fever sadly went down in a close tussle with the Firebirds, but Caitlin Bassett starred with 50 goals out of the Fever’s 57 and she will join us tonight.

Cross Fit Games
We featured the state finals of the Cross Fit Games a couple of months ago, and this weekend those finalists vie for a place in the world finals in the USA. Tonight one of the ladies hoping to win a place in the USA joins us, Michelle Fall.

Wheelchair Rugby
We spoke to them before the four nations, we spoke to the after their opening two victories and tonight we talk to Brad Dubberley of the victorious Australian Wheelchair Rugby team.
