Wallabies clinch Tri Nations Rugby Union.

Australian Rugby Union centre Stirling Mortlock kicked a last minute penalty for the Wallabies to steal a 19-18 win over South Africa in Durban and clinch the Tri Nations Trophy. The win secured the Tri Nations crown for the visitors and in doing so became the first side ever to win both the southern hemisphere title and the World Cup in the same year.
