Cricket protests Mugabe

Zimbabwe Test batsman Andy Flower and fast bowler Henry Olonga wore black armbands at the commencement of the World Cup in a brave protest against President Robert Mugabe’s tyrannical regime. Both men were forced into exile and international retirement. Flower played Sheffield Shirlds cricket in Australia and Olonga County Cricket in England.
