Triple hat-tricks in football
For only the second time in English League history, three members of a team scored hat-tricks in the same match when Wrexham thrashed Hartlepool 10-1 in a Division Four game at the Racecourse Ground. Wyn Davies, Ron Barnes and Roy Ambler each scored three goals for Wrexham.
