Suzanne Lenglen claims Wimbledon treble. France’s Suazanne Lenglen won the women’s singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles titels to become the first female player to win three championships at Wimbledon in the same year. In her second consecutive singles titel, Lenglen beat Dorothea Chambers 6-3, 6-0. She went on to win five straight Wimblendon singles Championships.
