Olympics or Low Cost Entertainment

There is no doubt that attending the Olympics in London is not a low cost event, especially when you look at the prices of the tickets available for some events. Yet it may well feel like you are climbing on board a low cost carrier rather than attending one of the biggest sporting events ever held.

When you receive your tickets you are advised to turn up to the event two hours before it is due to start; sound familiar? You must carry only one small bag that will fit under your seat. You must not take on board, sorry, into the venue any bottled water, or liquids in a container over 100mg. Neither can you carry an umbrella or wear a large hat.

The only plus is you will hopefully get great entertainment,  but we forgot, of course that is what you paid for.
