Fading Names

It is great to see Perth Glory looking to have things right on the park this season after so many false dawns in the A League, great to see a fighting spirit there from the players. Dave Mitchell and his coaching staff should also take credit for the tactics used against the Melbourne Victory and the style with which the team played.

Yet why is it that despite all the positives there is always some nagging negative with the club?

On the weekend that annoying aspect, petty as it may be, was the fact that the Glory players names were peeling off their shirts. A petty thing, but something that made one feel that here was a club who had done their shirts on the cheap, after all when was the last time you saw a professional footballer’s name peel off the back of his shirt. It was embarrassing. Luckily the football was far from so and hopefully will continue to be so enjoyable.

Saw that, and it was bloody embarrassing. Made the club look like a red dot team. The admin side is hopeless down there, wonedr if they will sort out tickets for this week in time?
