Bath City really lived up to their name in their recent FA Youth Cup tie with Newport County, when they had five players and their manager sent off and in for an early bath.
The trouble all started when referee Darren Acie invoked the rule that bicycle pants under the players shorts must be the same colour as the said shorts. He sent two Bath players to go and change. While they were changing Newport opened the scoring which lead to angry exchanges and a number of red cards being issued, including one to coach Billy Clark.
Bath were obviously in hot water and the 6-0 defeat they suffered did little to soothe their pain.
