We have been known to knock sports administrators when they get things horribly wrong, but we are also prepared to give them plaudits when they do well. One such case was this weekend when Football West staff managed to do what has seemed impossible. They managed to get the McInerney Gold Medal winner coverage on the commercial news on television in Perth. That is no mean feat, and we thank and congratulate Channel nine for giving the event the coverage it deserves. Also well done to Football West.
